President of the ECHL Worcester Railers HC, Mike Meyers -004

If you’ve been involved in youth hockey in Central mass in the last 15 years, chances are you’ve crossed paths with the President of the ECHL Worcester Railers Hockey Club. He came to Worcester while playing hockey and lacrosse at Assumption College, where he would go on to be an assistant hockey coach. Mike has great insight into the landscape of youth hockey in the Massachusetts area, with 3 boys playing the sport. We talk about the difficult decision high school hockey players are forced to make in today’s world. One of my favorite parts of the interview is when Mike and I discuss the Railers “Skate to Success” program they have brought to the city of Worcester.
